sovay and kraada, from the meme of ages ago. It took me a while to decide I was done fiddling with my answers. (Read: it took me a while to come to the conclusion that, no, I wasn't going to try to fully answer all the questions.

Wembley or Janet? A Fraggle who has trouble figuring out what he wants to do for his required 15 minutes of work per day, or a college student who actively plans to become a professor?

Is Rosencrantz hot? Not precisely. He's endearing, but I identify too much with him to be attracted to him.
12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
Lorelei sends Ista on a mission? It's obviously for coffee. Or possibly, to eat the demon that has clearly just taken over the body of her daughter Rory.
I think it will succeed, just because Ista is the sort to succeed in one way or another. It might not end up the way Lorelei really expects, though. Like, Rory might still be super irritating.
What is or would be 9's favorite book?
Thomas's favorite book would be something lengthy, complicated, and written by a dead white male.
Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?
Aerich to Wembley, or the other way around? Aerich would never swear fealty to Wembley. Wembley is about the size of ant to Aerich, and would not even be accorded the status given to the Easterners (who are considered subhuman as is). Wembley might swear fealty to Aerich, if he was told to, but I doubt he would have any understanding of what fealty means. For one thing, there's no way Wembley would ever go to war for Aerich. Wembley is a character on a show meant to promote world peace.
For some reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should 5 share a studio apartment with 9 or with 10?
Ned Kynaston, with Thomas or Aerin as a roommate.... He should totally room with Thomas. They'd have a lovely affair. It would end badly, because I'm not convinced that Kynaston is capable of lasting intimacy with someone as reserved as Thomas -- well, or with anyone else. I'm not convinced that Thomas would be able to avoid pressure to marry a woman to carry on his lineage, even if he did fall, against all odds, desperately in love with Kynaston. But I'd love to watch it while it lasted.
I can't quite imagine Kynaston rooming with Aerin. I think they would irritate each other beyond belief, but she might accidentally teach him things he badly needs to know.
7, 2 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?

Patroklus steals Ista's most precious possession? Er. I suppose that would mean that Patroklus steals Ista's freedom. Unfortunately, I can't quite imagine how he would manage to do that in the first place, so I'm not sure how she would get it back.
Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.
Satan and Lorelei? I can't think of any clever titles, so you will have to ignore this question. Sorry, move along folks.

Sadly, I don't think I'd get along very well with Satan. We might have interesting philosophical conversations, if I was in the mood, and I would love to listen to him speak in Milton-language. But I'd probably try to explain to him where he went wrong in Paradise Lost, which I doubt he'd appreciate.
If you could command 3 to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?

I don't think anyone draws or writes Janet, though I know of one piece of fiction featuring Dean's Janet; and in some ways, it could be argued that Janet herself is a piece of fanfic, as she is based on Janet in the ballad Tam Lin.

Oh, I don't know what Aerin would should while charging into battle. I'm pretty sure there's something that she's supposed to yell, though.

Ista -- This Town is Wrong by the Nields, only I'd want it to be rewritten so that it applies to a middle-aged woman rather than a college-aged girl.
I feel the need to point out that Anita Blake, who is not on this list, could be excellently represented by the Nields' song entitled, The Enemy Called Pants.
1, 6 and 12 are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
Patroklus, Wembley, and Lorelei are eating at the restaurant. Wembley didn't even reach for it, because he's not certain he wants the pancake. Patroklus would do his best, but Lorelei would win. I pity the person who tries to get between Lorelei and any foodstuff that she wants.

Aerin, who is as oblivious as I am when it comes to being hit on, and who is used to living in a place where everyone is wary of her and disdains her, will probably interpret it as, I'm not very interested in talking with you, because you're a witch/unGifted (depending on how old she is).

Kynaston? He'd be arrested for performing women's roles on stage in the Restoration era.

While Lorelei is in Rosencrantz's clutches, they have a conversation that is so random and tangential not even Stoppard can follow it. I expect everyone on my friendslist to read this. Er. Well, possibly inaccurately, but look at that plot! How can you not want to read it? I don't specifically know of anyone other than me who knows both the literary/fantasy folk AND Lorelei, so I think I'd have to write it.
